Ti Nspire Cas Student Software Serial Number

So apparently, I received Ti-nspire cx cas few years back and haven't used it until now. Ines de la fressange pic. Well, I lost the license number for the student software & when I called TI to get a new license they told me that they can't give me new one until I give them 'receipt'. I told them I got as a gift and don't have the receipt (neither do the person who gave me the gift). They said, 'no' so thats end of that.
