Intel Centrino Advanced N 6205 Agn Hackintosh

I'm running a t510 thinkpad and have just about everything working except the wireless on a Intel® Centrino® Advanced-N 6200 AGN. On another hackintosh. Intel Centrino Advanced-N 6235 6235ANHMW Wlan Bluetooth 4.0 Half MINI Card. WiFi Link 5100 AGN Wireless MINI PCI-E Card USE FOR INTEL 5100 AGN.

Well, I finally gave up on trying to get my onboard Intel Advanced-N 6200 wireless adapter to work on my Hackpad. As an alternative, I decided to try a USB Wireless adapter instead.

The USB adapter I chose was something that was recommended on another hackintosh board which, was one of the Airlink101 line of adapters. One of the things that's great about Airlink101's is that they have drivers that support OSX 10.4, 10.5, 10.6 and they work right out of the box. Though I really wanted to get the nano-sized I was a afraid that something that small would lack the range, though some owners it has decent range for its size. Taking the safer route, I decided to try get the which is their medium size 802.11n adapter. Overall, I couldn't be happier and it was an easy cheap way to get wireless for my Hackpad. For anyone who's interested, I got mine on sale through Meritline.com for about $8 w/ free shipping. Not a bad deal.

Not a bad deal. Another Advanced-N 6200 user here, I just received my AWLL6075. I can confirm it is working very well with my hackintosh.

If I select Cancel it closed Office and I am back to square one. When I try to activate the software the ONLY selection I am given is 'Activate Online'. Obviously if I select Activate Online it brings up a browser that goes nowhere because the PC cannot be connected. Discount software. No phone option is given.

Also, please contribute to the page, which should list a more granular view of compatibility. If your computer isn't listed, you should try it if you have a SSE2 or higher processor. Works OOTB with stock Lion • Graphics: 0x80862A42 so no QE/CI/OpenGL though Chameleon provides full resolution (1366x768) and I can't try any newer Chameleon builds due to them not starting Lion up for some reason. HDMI doesn't work • Camera: Chicony (I believe). Works OOTB though it stutters due to lack of QE/CI in PhotoBooth etc. • FaceTime and iCloud: Not working as a newer version of Chameleon is necessary which doesn't work for me • Trackpad: VoodoooPS2TrackPad works with 2-finger scrolling • Battery: VoodooBattery works great • Sleep: I disabled as it isn't necessary for me • USB: One of the ports (out of four) is buggy but generally okay • Card Reader: Works. 20 gauge browning automatic. Tested with SDHC cards • Volume / Brightness buttons work OOTB [] Aspire 5738ZG • Install Method: iATKOS L2 • Bootloader: Chameleon installed on iATKOS L2 • Audio: Works with VoodooHDA 2.7.4 (With VoodooHDA 2.7.3 or later i hear the microphone on the Speaker.), Install the driver after osx installation.
