Ezkey Ez8000 Smart Office Keyboard Driver

Good day, I built a new PC using INTEL DP55WB mother-board with Windows 7 Home Premium OEM version. I am using a Logitech USB mouse and an old PS2 Smart Office EZ 8000 Keyboard with an PS2 to USB adaptor. The problem I am having is that the keyboard is not responsive when the PC wakes up from sleep mode. But the mouse is fully functional and to get the PC to work again I have to restart it using the mouse. The funny thing is that the problem is inconsistent, i.e. The keyboard will be funtional for a few number of wakes before it goes non responsive or may freeze at the first wake after the PC is started for the day.
