International University of Kyrgyzstan (IUK) was created in 1993 by a special Decree of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic № 74 that gave the university status of international higher education institution. The International School of Medicine, East Campus is a structural division of the ESPC IUK. The school is dedicated to education of the physicians and medical researchers nationally and internationally.
The diverse group of domestic and international students along with nationally recognized faculty members creates a unique environment for nourishing world health professionals, physicians and scientists who promote evidence based medicine. The main offering program in the school is GM (General Medicine) program that requires 5 years of study for High School graduates who have 12 years of previous educational experience (for British Commonwealth citizens).
ISM EAST CAMPUS structure The divisions/departments of the ISM East Campus that are following allow organizing school work according to main principles and international standards of medical educational institution. Academic Affairs Department – supervises undergraduate and postgraduate programs and guides students during their studies. Dean Office is primarily responsible for overseeing school’s academic operation, managing students and making relevant academic decisions. It serves as a bridge between students, faculty and administration. International Affairs Department is accountable for international communications, represents faculties’ interests in international projects and provides visa support for students. Student Affairs Department keeps all the records (financial and academic performance related, etc.) of all ISM students and is primarily responsible for processing and issuing various academic documents to students.
